[ 01 ] HOW IT FINDS REPOST ACCOUNTS

One video at a time, every account that carries it.

01

Upload your video

Your original file is best: full quality, and we cover the whole video. Repeat for each video you want to check.

02

We search its frames

Distinctive frames from across your video, searched visually across the web — social pages, compilation sites and blogs.

03

Report the copies

Each copy with its URL, platform and how many frames agree. Exact matches on several frames are your reposts; use them in each platform's report form.

[ 02 ] THE MODEL WE REFUSE

Check your videos when you want. No monthly fee.

Monitoring tools charge $7.00 a month or more, whether you check anything or not.

Here you pay $0.90 per video you check. Top up once from $1.90 — the balance never expires — and spend it when a repost turns up.

How do I find accounts reposting my videos?

Upload each video you want to check. We search its frames across the web and list the public pages carrying the same footage, with the URL and platform of each. Accounts that repost several of your videos will show up across those searches.

Does Retrace watch my account and alert me to new reposts?

No. It searches when you run a scan — there is no automatic monitoring. Run a search again later to see copies that have appeared since.

Will it find every repost?

It finds public pages that search engines have indexed. Private accounts, deleted posts and very recent uploads may not appear yet.

Some matches are not my video. Why?

Results can include lookalikes — videos that just look similar. Each match is labelled exact or visually similar, with how many frames agree. An exact match on several frames is the one to report.

Does Retrace report the accounts for me?

No. It gives you the URLs you need to file a report or copyright claim yourself with each platform.
