Does it work with v.redd.it links?

Usually, yes. Links are downloaded with a standard extractor; when Reddit blocks it we say so, and uploading the file works instead. The free scan reads the first few seconds of a link — upload the file to scan the whole clip.

Does it work for GIFs posted on Reddit?

Yes. GIFs are treated as short videos and their frames are searched the same way.

Will it find the original creator?

It finds the pages that carry the same footage. The creator is usually one of them — open the matches and compare their dates and channels.

Can I search a video from a private or NSFW subreddit?

Private posts cannot be opened by link, and our terms do not allow searching intimate content of real people without their consent.
